Developing a Model of Human Resources Job Experience and Strategic Planning in Sports Organizations
Authors
Abstract:
Introduction: Utilizing the work experience of employees can be one of the ways to formulate better strategic planning in organizations. The present research was conducted with the aim of designing a model of human resources job experience and strategic planning in sports organizations in 2019. Methods: The research method is descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the research included all employees and managers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the country, numbering 890 people. The number of samples of 380 people was determined using Cochran's formula, and they were selected by simple random sampling (lottery method) and entered into the research. Data collection instruments were demographic questionnaire, "Work Experience Questionnaire" and "Strategic Planning Questionnaire". Content validity in a qualitative method and reliability of "Strategic Planning Questionnaire" were checked and confirmed by internal consistency method by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the instruments. The validity and reliability of the "Job Experience Questionnaire" has not been checked and the previous study was used. The data were analyzed with SPSS .24 and Lisrel. 8.5. Results: There is a significant relationship (P≤ 0.01) between the components of the strategic Planning and job experience. The linear relationship between 2 variables of job experience with strategic Planning is confirmed (P<0.05 and F=1147.98). Regression analysis shows that job experience (P<0.01 and t=25.20) has the ability to predict the strategic Planning. Based on the results of the beta coefficient, for one standard deviation unit increase in job experiences, the amount of the strategic Planning (0.792) of the standard deviation increases. In addition, the model fit index was reported as good. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between the components of the strategic Planning and job experience. It is suggested to consider job experience for strategic planning in sport organizations.
